Whether we are constructing a portfolio using
collective investments or individual equities, we operate with
flexibility and the level of reporting and ongoing communication can
vary according to clients needs. Expectations are established and
agreed at the commencement of a relationship.
Our standard client communications meet FCA requirements and as a
general rule we provide clients with two formal valuations per year
and an annual statement of accounts. Twice a year we produce a
bulletin providing an overview of global markets.
Year end tax schedules with consolidated vouchers are issued to
clients as appropriate. A Capital Gains Tax service is also
available.
We operate with a clear and transparent charging
structure. There is an annual charge for the management of each client
portfolio and a simple scale of minimum transaction charges.
This information is detailed in our Schedule of Fees and Charges
which is available on request.
It is often misquoted that the expense of having
a discretionary portfolio is prohibitive to performance. Our TERs are
very competitive when compared with other solutions. Please ask for a
comparison and we will be happy to provide it.
Transactions are implemented at highly
competitive terms. Our clients are not subject to the high front-end
fees associated with investing into collective investments. Leveraging
the buying power of Raymond James, we have access to preferred share
classes, thus reducing product costs for our clients.
The security of client assets is critical, which is why those in
our client portfolios are only held in safe custody through approved
custodians. This also allows us to simplify the administration and
processing of investments.
